    SI MA TANTE …

A performance that would have been set on a city bus…if it had taken place. The public is therefore invited to journey through a guided exhibition, the exhibition of a project that will never take place, even if it is ready to be presented. Through the conditional, Laurence and Simon attempt to bring a true experience of possibilities alive for the public: what would this project be IF it took place? They transform reality into an imaginary space. They transform the ordinary into great revelation. They transform fact into great mystery.

    NICOLAS AUTOMATIQUEMENT

A living art project created in collaboration with six persons with intellectual disabilities. In a turquoise kitchen, numbers and performances of all kinds happen in succession, bringing to light a portrait of ordinary madness: Elvis Presley addresses us in an approximate English; devoid of nostalgia, Richard takes us through the changes Baie-Saint-Paul village has been subject to; a bride in front of a wedding cake talks tells us her loves; a small motorcyclist, cigarette in mouth, lip-synchs to the sound of his own voice; a peanut butter tart mountain chain; “Me, my job, I am a chocolate milkman!”
